20 needy students from Kisii County have been successfully selected and awarded comprehensive secondary school scholarships following their exemplary performance in the 2014 KCPE exams. An initiative of Equity Group Foundation.

Speaking at the Kisii County flag off ceremony, Governor Ongwae congratulated the beneficiaries and called on them to take advantage of the scholarships to better their lives. The beneficiaries were drawn from all the nine sub counties based on need and performance.
